Victorious Dance Competitions in 2023
Congratulations to all the students of Yi Dance who participated in the dance competitions and achieved outstanding results!
Last year, Yi Dance selected a group of outstanding students who underwent more than half a year of rigorous training and participated in internationally renowned YAGP Dance Competition and two Canadian dance competitions, Breakthru Dance Challenge and Star Beat, and achieved great success!
In these competitions, the students, parents, and teachers of Yi Dance worked together in unity and cooperation, and fought for months, winning 15 top three prizes, 3 special awards from judges, and 1 choreography award in the 12 dances participated. The awards included first place in contemporary dance overall, first place in solo dance for 13-year-olds, first place in ballet ensemble for 12-year-olds, and 5 first places in group competitions, as well as multiple scholarships! Yi Dance's competition entries included ballet, contemporary dance, jazz dance, lyrical dance, and Hip-hop, all of which made it into the top three in their respective categories, and in some categories, Yi Dance took all three top spots!

These competition achievements are the result of the collective efforts of all participants. We express our deepest gratitude to all the students, and thank the parents and teachers for their strong support, as well as the hard work of all the volunteers! Your hard training and efforts have yielded remarkable results, and we are all incredibly proud of you!
The audition for next year's dance competitions will be held soon, and we encourage students to participate in summer camp competition classes to prepare. In order to meet the competition requirements, students who participate competitions need to attend three or more main dance classes per week. We wish all the students great success in next year's dance competitions!
