RAD REGISTERED TEACHER

Winnie is a certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance(RAD) and holds a Teaching Certificate from RAD. She initiated her ballet training in Hong Kong before furthering her studies in Canada under the tutelage of Cristina Pora, former ballerina at the National Opera Bucharest in Romania, and Sergiu Stefanski, ex-principal dancer of the National Ballet of Canada. Winnie completed her academic pursuits at the University of Western Ontario, securing both her Master's and Bachelor's degrees. Her professional dance journey continued with the completion of the RAD Grade 8 and Advanced 2 ballet examinations, obtaining teaching credentials under the RAD syllabus from the UK, and successfully passing ballet and jazz exams governed by the CSTD syllabus from Australia. Her proficiency in Progressive Ballet Technique and Pilates, acquired through Dance Medicine Australia, underscores her dedication to safety in ballet training.

For the past 17 years, Winnie has instructed a broad spectrum of students ranging from three-year-olds to adults. She has rigorously prepared students for various competitions, both locally and internationally, including the prestigious Taiwan International Grand Prix. Winnie's enthusiasm for producing ballet productions like La Fille mal Gardée, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and Swan Lake has been instrumental in providing her students with enriching experiences that leave lasting impressions.

Although her foundation is in classical ballet, Winnie has recently embraced tap, contemporary, lyrical, and jazz through recreational classes. She is fervently dedicated to teaching her students the importance of lifelong learning and the advantages of embracing versatility and resilience across various dance forms.
