Sejon, a young artist hailing from Markham, Ontario, delved into the world of competitive dancing at the tender age of 8. At 13, he transitioned to Vlad’s Dance Company. His training encompasses a diverse range of styles, including hip hop, ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, tap, and partnering. Collaborating with renowned choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Teddy Forance, Lex Ishimoto, and others has been a pivotal part of Sejon's journey.
Sejon earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he had the privilege of honing his skills under the guidance of mentors like Tanya Evidente, Vicki St Denys, Louis Laberge-Côté, and more. Sejon seized opportunities to collaborate with accomplished choreographers like Rock Bottom, Rodney Diverlus, Stephanie Lake, and Daileidys Carrazana.
Sejon's professional experience includes participation in four productions with Bridge to Artists, Colossus, and Stepanova’s Nutcracker in 2014. His dedication and talent have been recognized through VIP scholarships, Breakout Artist Winner Scholarships at JUMP and NUVO dance conventions, and the prestigious title of Top 20 Senior Male Best Dancer at the Dance Awards in Orlando. Looking ahead, Sejon aspires to continue exploring his passion for dance and choreography, eager to connect with artists possessing diverse skill sets.
